Job summary

Firefly Aerospace seeks a seasoned Commodity Manager for Avionics and EEE Parts to define category strategy, lead supplier selection, and drive long-term agreements. You will oversee supplier performance, manage risks, and collaborate across program, finance, engineering, and quality to ensure cost, quality, and delivery objectives.

This strategy-first leadership role requires 10+ years in aerospace procurement, AS9100 knowledge, and strong negotiation, with 25–50% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, SCM, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of procurement/supply chain management experience in aerospace or regulated environments.
• Experience managing Avionics and/or EEE Parts commodities.
• Knowledge of AS9100 and related industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive commodity strategy for Avionics and EEE Parts including supplier strategies.
• Lead supplier evaluation, development, and regular business reviews.
• Execute RFx, PRs, and POs in coordination with Planning and Procurement.
• Monitor market conditions and manage supply base risks.
