Job summary

Charter Communications is seeking a Senior Commission Systems Consultant to optimize commission systems and drive strategic initiatives across HR, IT, and business units.

You will translate business needs into technical specifications, oversee deliverables, and ensure quality through rigorous testing and validation. The role focuses on scalable data preprocessing using AWS Redshift and collaborating with senior stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work experience.
• 5+ years of business or systems analyst experience.
• Experience translating business needs into clear functional/technical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the intake, review and refinement of commission system requirements from business stakeholders, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives
• Translate business needs into comprehensive functional and technical requirements, identifying gaps and supporting solution design and delivery
• Oversee end-to-end delivery of requirements to development teams, proactively managing milestones, dependencies and risks
• Develop and execute test strategies, coordinate validation processes and ensure solutions meet business specifications and quality standards
• Evaluate system change requests, assess business and technical impacts and identify dependencies across applications and processes
• Compile, analyze and present complex data sets to inform strategic decisions and process improvements
• Design and maintain scalable, reliable data pre-processing automation to support commission processing using AWS Redshift and similar technologies
• Serve as a senior liaison among HR, IT, HRIS, Payroll and business stakeholders to maximize system capabilities and support evolving needs
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and system enhancements, recommending improvements in operational efficiency, accuracy and scalability
• Support broader business and technology initiatives by contributing subject matter expertise and mentoring team members
