Job summary

Spectrum is seeking a Senior Commission Systems Consultant to optimize commission systems and drive strategic initiatives across departments. You will bridge technical and business needs, streamline processes, and support decision-making with data-driven insights.

In this role, you will lead requirements, design technical specs, guide delivery to development teams, and develop test strategies. You’ll collaborate with HR, IT, HRIS, and Payroll to maximize system capabilities and enable scalable

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work experience.
• 5+ years of business or systems analyst experience.
• Experience translating business needs into functional/technical requirements.
• Experience leading end-to-end delivery of requirements to development teams.
• Experience developing test strategies and coordinating validation processes.
• Knowledge of data movement and master systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead intake, review and refinement of commission system requirements from stakeholders.
• Translate business needs into functional and technical requirements and identify gaps.
• Oversee end-to-end delivery of requirements to development teams with milestones and risks.
• Develop and execute test strategies and validation processes.
• Evaluate system change requests and assess impacts across applications.
• Manage complex requirements with cross-functional teams to deliver features.
• Analyze data sets to inform strategic decisions and improvements.
• Design scalable data pre-processing automation for commission processing (AWS Redshift).
• Serve as senior liaison among HR, IT, HRIS and Payroll stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and system enhancements.
• Mentor team members and contribute SME knowledge on initiatives.
