The role focuses on accurately calculating labor, equipment, and material costs for roofing opportunities, negotiating supplier pricing, and maintaining current market data to generate precise estimates and project documents. The position requires risk analysis on complex projects and collaboration to improve operations while complying with company processes.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license in accordance with state laws and company driving policies.
• OSHA 10 certification and strong knowledge of OSHA safety standards.
• Solid understanding of commercial roofing systems, codes, and industry standards.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, submittals, and technical specifications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates across all commercial roofing systems, including labor, materials, equipment, and pricing.
• Perform value engineering to recommend cost-effective solutions that meet client and project requirements.
• Review drawings, specifications, and warranty requirements to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Support sales by attending client meetings to assess roof conditions and recommend solutions.
• Maintain current material pricing and negotiate with suppliers and manufacturers as needed.
• Compile submittals, manufacturer documentation, and complex project-related paperwork.
• Participate in pre-bid, post-bid, and handoff meetings with sales and project management teams.
• Conduct risk analysis, generate job cost reports, and ensure compliance with contracts and company processes.
