Job summary

Hudson Valley Credit Union is seeking a Commercial Relationship Manager to counsel prospective commercial loan applicants and guide them through the loan process in accordance with Credit Union and regulatory guidelines. You will develop relationships with branches, realtors, attorneys and other partners to grow the commercial loan portfolio.

Qualifications

• Associate9 Degree or equivalent experience required.
• NMLS registration required.
• Valid driver9 s license required.
• Minimum 3 years in business services/commercial lending experience required.
• Minimum 2 years direct commercial lending experience required.
• SBA loan origination experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with referral sources including branches, realtors, attorneys, accountants and other affinity groups.
• Respond to inquiries and leads from all sources.
• Recommend commercial loan products and advise members of risks and benefits, and identify opportunities for referrals to other products and services.
• Maintain and develop the portfolio of existing commercial loan members; record all efforts.
• Assist in preparation, management and presentation of new loan proposals and renewals with documentation of business income, assets, debts, and collateral.
• Coordinate with Processing/Underwriting to ensure quality loan decisions; prepare for and attend Commercial Loan Committee meetings and assist in closings.
• Perform ongoing collection efforts/workouts for delinquent members.
• Adhere to Credit Union policies, procedures and regulatory requirements; participate in training and Lean Six Sigma initiatives.
• Embrace HVCU guiding principles and teamwork.
• Maintain regular attendance.
