Job summary

Columbia Bank in Salem, Oregon, is seeking a credit analyst to analyze customer credit information for commercial and CRE loans, including owner-occupied and investor real estate. You will partner with Portfolio Managers, CSMs and Relationship Managers to prepare timely credit recommendations and ensure compliance with bank policies.

The role requires 2–4 years of commercial credit analysis experience, strong financial statement spreading skills, and proficiency with Moody’s Risk Analyst and MS

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of commercial credit analysis or underwriting experience.
• Proficient spread of financial statements including income tax returns.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and evaluate credit information for new and renewal credit requests across various loan types.
• Prepare concise credit recommendations with accurate risk ratings and policy exceptions.
• Monitor borrower financial performance and covenant calculations in line with loan documents.
• Collaborate with Portfolio Managers, CSMs and Relationship Managers to structure loans and obtain approvals.
