Penn State Construction is seeking a Project Manager with 3–5 years of commercial construction experience to plan, coordinate, and deliver projects from handoff through closeout. This role emphasizes strong planning, communication, and financial oversight to keep projects on schedule and on budget.

Responsibilities include coordinating handoffs, developing baselines, preparing submittals, and maintaining client relationships.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of commercial construction project management experience required.
• Strong planning, communication, scheduling, and financial management skills required.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with clarity and accountability required.

Responsibilities

• Plan & Prepare Projects for Successful Field Execution: participate in handoff meetings, issue baselines, confirm long lead items, prepare submittals, communicate risks and milestones.
• Lead Execution Through Communication & Coordination: be primary contact for owners, attend progress meetings, generate RFIs, support Superintendents, manage multiple projects.
• Control Project Financials & Protect Margin: track costs vs budget, prepare invoices/pay apps, review payments, manage change orders, forecast final costs.
• Deliver Professional Closeouts & Build Client Relationships: conduct closeouts, coordinate punch lists, submit closeouts, secure owner satisfaction, maintain client relationships.
