Job summary

gpac is partnering with a well-established commercial general contractor in Evansville, Indiana, seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Project Manager to lead diverse commercial projects from preconstruction through final closeout.

You will develop schedules and budgets, coordinate subcontractors and consultants, review contracts, and drive on-time, on-budget delivery while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Scheduling, budgeting, and cost control proficiency.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and leading cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication, leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and execution.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, architects, engineers, and consultants.
• Facilitate project meetings and provide updates to clients and stakeholders.
• Review contracts, drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
• Identify and resolve project risks, scheduling issues.
• Manage project financials, forecasting, cost controls, and change orders.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to high quality standards.
• Build lasting relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
