Job summary

GPAC is seeking a Senior Project Manager for a Beloit area commercial construction role. You will take ownership of complex projects, build strong client relationships, and provide leadership that aligns office and field toward common goals.

This position blends hands-on project management with mentoring and team leadership, guiding projects from preconstruction through closeout and addressing challenges before they become costly problems.

Qualifications

• 7-10+ years in commercial construction project management.
• Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of contracts, drawings, specifications, costs, and schedules.
• Ability to manage priorities and make sound decisions.
• Clear communication and the ability to earn trust with clients and field teams.
• Proficiency with construction management software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and subcontractor buyout.
• Manage cost reporting, forecasting, and change management.
• Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, superintendents, and subcontractors.
• Lead meetings, site reviews, and issue resolution.
• Mentor Project Managers and drive accountability across teams.
• Ensure quality, safety, and successful turnover.
