Job summary

Tidal Construction Group LLC is seeking a Project Manager to plan and execute commercial projects in South Florida. The role combines office oversight with weekly site visits, accountable for budgets, schedules, and subcontractor coordination across $2M–$10M projects.

Responsibilities include managing RFIs, submittals, and change orders; partnering with the Superintendent to meet contractual and safety standards; and delivering accurate forecasting and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own assigned projects from estimating turnover through closeout in accordance with contract documents, Tidal standards, budget, schedule, and client commitments.
• Lead RFIs, submittals, procurement, change orders, pay apps, and closeout documentation.
• Collaborate with the Superintendent to ensure field execution aligns with contract documents, look-ahead plan, critical path, quality, safety, and financial plan.
• Develop and maintain a logic-driven master schedule with weekly updates, critical-path analysis, and two-week look-ahead; update when changes occur.
• Identify schedule risks early and lead practical recovery planning with the team and owner.
• Maintain logs for RFIs, submittals, procurement, changes, decisions, and actions to reflect project status.
• Forecast monthly cost-to-complete and report variances with corrective actions.
• Maintain a no-surprises culture with owners, architects, subcontractors, and leadership; communicate risks clearly.
• Lead OAC and coordination meetings with clear agendas and timely minutes; escalate material risks with a concise update whenever needed.
• Ensure compensation is managed per project plan; monitor performance bonuses and benefits as defined.
