Job summary

Florida Construction Connection, Inc. is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager for Northeast Broward County, Florida.

The role focuses on planning, coordination, finances, and delivery of commercial projects up to $5M, collaborating with owners, consultants, and trade partners to ensure safety, schedule, and budget adherence. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of PM experience in commercial construction, strong budgeting/scheduling skills, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred
• 5+ years of Project Management experience with commercial construction
• Experience delivering multiple commercial, medical facility, hospitality, and/or retail construction projects preferred
• Strong understanding of budgeting, scheduling, contracts, procurement, and project financial management
• Ability to lead teams while maintaining strong client and subcontractor relationships
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• High attention to detail and follow-through
• Strong problem-solving and prioritization skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and reporting
• Oversee subcontractor procurement, buyout, contract administration, and change management
• Lead project meetings with owners, architects, engineers, consultants, and trade partners
• Monitor project costs, commitments, forecasting, and financial performance
• Manage project documentation, RFIs, submittals, permits, and closeout processes
• Collaborate with field leadership to maintain schedule, quality, safety, and productivity goals
• Provide proactive communication and leadership throughout all phases of construction
• Lead field and office coordination and support long-term company goals with integrity and accountability
