Job summary

Bodycote is seeking a Senior Commercial Analyst to prepare quotations and provide data analysis for the commercial group. You will partner with sales, customer service, operations and legal to develop accurate quotations and assist in NDA, LTA, and contracts that meet business needs.

The role involves developing and deploying commercial reporting, forecasting, and useful metrics for management, while adhering to safety and ITAR requirements in a heavy industrial environment.

Qualifications

• 4 year college degree in Finance, Sales & Marketing, Metallurgy/Material Science or equivalent experience.
• ITAR compliance requires U.S. Citizens or Permanent Resident Card.
• Minimum 1–3 years of quoting experience.
• Must be able to interpret blue prints and specifications.
• Proficiency in oral and written communication for interfacing with top management and staff.
• Requires computer experience, specifically with Microsoft Office; CRM experience preferred.
• Strong math/algebra skills are required.
• Must read, write, and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quotations across relevant business units under guidance of senior managers.
• Develop pricing using standard costing, margins, and competitive knowledge.
• Utilize Salesforce for accurate quote tracking and data management.
• Collaborate with sales, operations, and customer service on pricing and quotes.
• Assist with quote revisions and commercial reporting.
• Generate meaningful metrics and present to sales and management.
