Job summary

Bodycote plc seeks a NA Commercial Analyst to prepare commercial analytics, pricing data, costing data, and quotations for the division’s plants under guidance from the Commercial Director. You will work with sales, customer service, operations and legal to deliver accurate quotations and assist with NDAs, LTAs and other contracts.

The role involves performing commercial analytics on quote turnaround time, volume, margins, costing and capacity analyses, and other key metrics.

Qualifications

• Requires ITAR compliance; candidates must be U.S. Citizens or permanent residents.
• 4 year college degree in Business, Finance, Sales & Marketing, Metallurgy/Material Science or equivalent.
• Minimum 1–3 years of quoting, pricing, costing, or business analytics experience.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English; strong math, accounting, P&L understanding.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Salesforce experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quotations and LTAs/contracts across the relevant business units.
• Develop pricing using disciplined costing and margin models.
• Use Salesforce for accurate quote tracking and data entry.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Customer Service to price and quote.
• Assist with quote revisions as directed by Commercial leadership.
• Analyze pricing, quotes, and business strategy with internal stakeholders.
• Prepare and present meaningful metrics to sales and management.
