Job summary

Bodycote, the world’s largest provider of thermal processing services, seeks a NA Commercial Analyst to prepare analytics, pricing data, costing data, and quotations for the division’s plants with guidance from the Commercial Director. You will partner with sales, customer service, operations and legal to develop accurate quotations and assist with NDAs, LTAs and contracts.

Qualifications

• Requires ITAR compliance; US citizen or permanent resident.
• 4-year college degree in Business, Finance, Sales & Marketing, Metallurgy/Material Science or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of quoting, pricing, costing, or business analytics experience.
• Must be capable of interpreting blue prints and specifications.
• Proficiency in MS Office; Salesforce experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail; ability to interface with management and plant personnel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quotations and LTAs/contracts across business units under guidance from the Commercial Director and team.
• Develop pricing using disciplined costing models and established margin expectations.
• Use Salesforce for quote tracking and data integrity.
• Collaborate with Commercial team, sales, operations, and customer service on pricing and quotes.
• Assist with quote revisions as assigned by leadership.
• Analyze pricing, quotes, and business strategy with internal stakeholders; present reporting and metrics.
• Collaborate with quality, order entry, billing, and accounts receivable to resolve issues and generate relevant analytics.
