Ideal candidates will have a degree or 3+ years in credit/debt collection or sales, strong communication skills, and experience with merchant accounts and financial statements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent 3+ years of credit/debt collection or sales experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including articulate phone demeanor and professionalism.
• Demonstrated ability to research merchant accounts and analyze repayment streams.
• Resolve account disputes efficiently and professionally with the goal of maximizing customer retention.
• Solid working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and databases.

Responsibilities

• Investigate delinquent accounts and identify reasons for ceased credit card processing or inconsistent volumes.
• Negotiate, collect, and cure delinquent accounts; establish payment schedules when appropriate.
• Update merchant accounts with accurate notes from conversations.
• Locate and notify customers of breached accounts and solicit payment.
• Determine suitability of accounts for legal action when warranted.
