Job summary

Orrick, a global law firm, seeks a Collections Analyst to join a dynamic team across our US office locations. You will analyze accounts receivable items, collaborate with attorneys and clients, and advance the collections process.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, has five+ years in collections, strong accounting knowledge, and excellent written and verbal communication. Proficiency with Excel and billing systems is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Five+ years of related collection experience required.
• Knowledge of accounting principles required.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills required.
• Proficiency with Excel/MS Word and Windows environment required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze target accounts receivable items for follow-up with attorneys and clients.
• Develop trusting and collaborative relationships regarding the billing and collections process.
• Proactively communicate and update attorneys, clients and management on AR status.
