Job summary

AbbVie Inc. in the United States is seeking a Program Manager for CMC Portfolio Management to lead the development and maintenance of CMC project plans for PPDST, coordinating with R&D, Ops, and Commercial teams.

You will manage rosters, timelines, and scenario planning for drug development programs and on-market LCM projects. The role requires strong PM skills, experience with MS Project, and the ability to drive cross-functional discussions, optimize processes, and train teams on PM practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in technical/scientific field with 6+ years pharma/biotech experience; or Master's with 4+ years; or Doctorate
• Accreditation in PM or process improvement preferred (e.g., PMP, LEAN Six Sigma)
• Must be self-directed, able to manage multiple projects, and communicate clearly
• Experience with project management tools and data reporting preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain CMC project plans for PPDST using standardized PM tools
• Maintain PPDST rosters, timelines, and scenario planning for reviews
• Lead PPDST team meetings, set agendas, capture actions, drive accountability
• Collaborate to develop multiple project plans; identify risks and determine corrective actions
• Coordinate knowledge management and training on PM practices; ensure data accuracy for resource estimates
• Drive process improvements and ensure cross-functional alignment across R&D/Ops/Commercial
