Sanofi is seeking a Clinical Lead for Early Development and Experimental Therapeutics in Oncology. The role focuses on leading translational and early clinical activities for oncology assets, coordinating cross-functional teams, and guiding trial design from preclinical through phase 2a.

The candidate will work with global asset teams, ensure high-quality documentation, and drive Go/No Go decisions while maintaining timelines and regulatory readiness.

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent degree required and medical licensure expected.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in early clinical development.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across global teams.
• Experience with translational medicine concepts and early-phase trials.

Responsibilities

• Design safe, rapid First-In-Human studies for oncology assets.
• Integrate development plans with therapeutic area strategy.
• Provide clinical expertise to guide pre-clinical data generation and interpretation.
• Make protocol design and safety decisions in early development.
• Oversee study execution and medical monitoring.
• Prepare regulatory documents and study reports with high quality.
