Job summary

Sanofi is seeking a Clinical Lead for ECET in Cambridge, MA. This role drives translation from preclinical to early clinical development within the Translational Medicine Unit, working across small molecules, antibodies, and other modalities.

You will lead ECET contributions, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure high-quality, timely clinical documentation and studies. The position emphasizes reaching Proof-of-Mechanism/Concept milestones and coordinating with regulatory

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of experience in the design and execution of early development clinical trials (phase 1a/b and 2a) OR similar exploratory studies.
• Postgraduate residency training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and lead early development plans for ECET within core development strategy.
• Design safe, rapid and informative First-In-Human studies including PK/PD and mechanistic studies.
• Supervise the execution and ensure close medical monitoring.
• Review and interpret ECET-related clinical documents and regulatory materials.
• Interact with multidisciplinary teams and liaise with partners on projects.
• Participate in dose selection for First-In-Human studies and Go/No-Go decisions.
• Ensure study follow-up and timeline adherence.
• Present data at internal and external meetings.
