Qualifications

MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
Completion of an accredited family medicine residency.
Board certification or board eligibility in family medicine.
Unrestricted California State license (or eligible to obtain CA state licensure).
Unrestricted Drug Enforcement Agency certificate.

Responsibilities

Teach clinical skills and attend to curriculum as part of preclinical and clinical teaching.
Participate in Clinical Medicine & Reasoning and other curricular blocks as assigned.
Attend department and university meetings and engage in faculty development and CME.
Provide osteopathic primary medical care through WesternU medical centers as directed, including after-hours responsibilities.
Participate in community outreach programs and health screenings.
