Job summary

BBVA in New York is seeking a Client Strategy & Profitability Analyst to support profitability analysis, transaction reviews and committee preparation. You will work with US and global stakeholders to promote pricing discipline, capital utilization and informed client decisions.

The role involves repetitive analytics, data reconciliation and the creation of dashboards and reports using internal tools, with exposure to the NBC process and cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
Foundational understanding of Corporate & Investment Banking products, financial statements, profitability concepts and risk‑adjusted returns.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with data visualization, reporting or BI tools is a plus.
Fluent English required; Spanish is a plus for coordination with global teams.

Responsibilities

Prepare transaction materials, profitability monitoring, and committee materials for NBC review.
Assist Coverage and Product teams with the client admission process and profitability tools.
Prepare recurring dashboards and management reports covering client performance and portfolio trends.
