Job summary

SunnyData is seeking a Client Principal to lead strategic accounts in Financial Services. You will own governance, drive value, and partner with Databricks to deliver high-impact data solutions. This role requires 7+ years in engagement leadership and a proven ability to grow enterprise accounts.

You will manage executive relationships, craft strategic plans, and guide delivery teams to achieve multi-million-dollar outcomes in a fast-growing data and AI environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in strategic account ownership or engagement roles within consulting or tech services.
• Experience serving the Financial Services vertical with security, compliance, and risk understanding.
• PMO experience or Engagement Manager background preferred; governance and margins management.

Responsibilities

• Own the Account Lifecycle for Financial Services accounts, focusing on farming, bookings, NRR, and profitability.
• Lead commercial strategy, negotiations, SOWs, renewals, and MSA amendments with legal and delivery teams.
• Identify whitespace opportunities across data engineering, analytics, ML/AI, and cloud transformation for growth.
• Coordinate with cloud partners (AWS/Azure) and Databricks to unlock funding and drive outcomes.
• Serve as Engagement Lead, governance on scope, budget, timelines, and dependencies; drive value realization.
• Manage executive relationships and facilitate quarterly business reviews with senior stakeholders.
