Job summary

State Street Investment Management (SSIM) seeks a Client Onboarding Manager with institutional client experience to manage the onboarding life-cycle for North America. You will collaborate with a cross-functional team to guide each client through the event lifecycle and ensure a seamless experience.

The role requires strong relationship skills, risk awareness, and the ability to work with partners across Legal, Operations, KYC, Portfolio Management and Billing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in the investment management industry, working directly with institutional clients.
• In-depth understanding of the Institutional marketplace and the asset classes and investment product offerings.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of a pipeline of client onboarding events (e.g., Separate Account launches and changes, Glidepath mandates, Collective Investment Vehicle fundings, Advisory relationships) and deliver a positive client experience.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, OCIO providers, and other external stakeholders to guide each deal through the event lifecycle.
• Build strong relationships with internal teams including Relationship Managers, Account Executives, Legal, Operations, KYC, Portfolio Management and Billing to ensure successful onboarding outcomes.
• Maintain awareness of business risk and own issues as they arise.
