Job summary

State Street Corporation’s SSIM unit is seeking a Client Onboarding Manager with institutional client experience to manage the full onboarding lifecycle for North America clients, coordinating with sales, legal, operations, and billing.

The role emphasizes collaboration, process improvement, and adherence to regulatory requirements, while leveraging technology and cross-team partnerships to deliver timely, accurate client onboarding and strong client experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in the investment management industry, working directly with institutional clients.
• In depth understanding of the Institutional marketplace and the various asset classes and investment product offerings.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of a pipeline of client onboarding events (e.g., Separate Account launches and changes, Glidepath mandates, Collective Investment Vehicle fundings, Advisory relationships).
• Work directly with clients, consultants, OCIO providers, and other external stakeholders to guide each deal through the event lifecycle.
• Cultivate positive relationships with internal partners including Relationship Managers, Account Executives, Legal, Operations, KYC, Portfolio Management, and Billing.
• Keep a diligent awareness of business risk and ownership of issues when they arise.
