Job summary

Selective Insurance is seeking a data-driven analyst to partner with Claims leadership to develop and maintain reporting dashboards, scorecards, and analytics. The role focuses on Power BI, Cognos, and Excel-based solutions to support Staff Counsel and executive initiatives.

You will deliver high-impact analytics, train users on new processes, and scale claims platforms while maintaining data integrity and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or 5+ years analytics experience with actionable recommendations.
• Experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Cognos.
• Knowledge of claims financial/transactional platforms and databases.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain claims reporting platforms and delivery methods.
• Establish a monthly claims reporting package with dashboard and scorecards.
• Support ad-hoc analytical requests from management platforms.
• Analyze audit data and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Produce descriptive analytics and executive summaries for leadership.
