Job summary

Beyond Identity is seeking a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to drive the strategic planning and execution of the company’s cybersecurity programs. The CISO will align security initiatives with business objectives and lead a high-performing team to counter evolving threats.

The role involves guiding security architecture, incident management, threat intelligence, and compliance across product development and operations. Travel to engage with customers and industry events is expected.

Qualifications

• Extensive cybersecurity expertise across architecture, development, and operations.
• Senior leadership experience in cybersecurity operations.
• Ability to communicate complex security concepts to executives and technical teams.
• Familiarity with compliance regimes and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy aligned with business goals.
• Oversee security architecture, engineering practices, and product development security integration.
• Lead security operations: threat monitoring, incident detection/response, vulnerability management, and posture improvements.
• Build and lead a high-performing security team with rapid threat response capabilities.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, sales, and customer success to embed security best practices.
• Provide external thought leadership to customers, industry experts, and analysts.
