Job summary

Vantage Data Centers seeks a CISO to lead enterprise information security across global operations, aligning security with business objectives and regulatory requirements. You will manage a worldwide security team, define programs, and report to the board while driving risk-aware innovation and AI-enabled threat foresight.

You will partner with IT, legal, compliance, and business units to embed security throughout the lifecycle, steering incident response and governance across NA, EMEA, and APAC

Qualifications

• 15+ years in information security, IT risk management, or related fields
• 5–7+ years in a senior leadership role
• Proven track record developing enterprise security strategies and regulatory compliance (GDPR, ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2)
• Expertise across security technologies, threat intel, risk management, cloud, network and app security
• Strong collaboration, communication, and executive stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute the enterprise information security strategy across global operations
• Manage the global information security team and provide mentorship
• Oversee security programs, policies, controls, and risk reporting to leadership and board
• Partner with IT, legal, compliance and risk to embed security in all initiatives
• Lead incident response planning, detection, containment, and post-incident analysis
• Evaluate emerging security tech and regulatory changes and guide adoption
• Drive security awareness and training across the organization
• Establish metrics and continuous improvement for security programs
• Represent the company to regulators, auditors, partners and industry groups
• Balance security with business growth and customer trust
