Job summary

Pluralsight seeks a Chief Information Security Officer to own our enterprise-wide security strategy across corporate and product environments, safeguarding customer data and business information.

You will lead policy development, risk management, and audits, collaborating with global teams to drive an architecture and program grounded in clarity, accountability, and operational rigor. Remote-friendly with on-site needs near Westlake/Dallas, TX.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of information security experience including 8+ years in people leadership
• Experience leading a company-wide information security program
• Expert-level knowledge of security architecture, technologies, systems design, integration, and networking
• Deep understanding of federal and industry information security regulations (FISMA, FedRAMP, NIST, HIPAA, DFARS, etc.)
• Excellent written and oral communication skills for IT professionals, senior management, auditors, and inspectors

Responsibilities

• Set vision, strategy, architecture, and program for protecting information assets across corporate and product environments
• Ensure compliance with federal, state laws, policies, and client requirements
• Turn regulatory learnings into practical policies and security plans
• Lead third-party audits and develop disaster recovery and business continuity programs
• Deliver security reports and assessments required by regulators and clients
