Job summary

Origin Bank is seeking a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to lead the bank's information security, cybersecurity, and data protection programs. The role requires strategic oversight, regulatory alignment, and risk-aware leadership across Risk, Technology, Legal, and business units.

The CISO will drive policy, controls, incident response, third-party risk, and data privacy initiatives, ensuring confidentiality, integrity, and availability of assets while supporting business objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information security, computer science, information systems, or related field required.
• 8-12+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or IT risk management.
• 5+ years of leadership experience within a financial services or regulated environment.
• Experience supporting regulatory examinations and interacting with senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develops and manages the bank's enterprise information security program.
• Reports on cybersecurity risks, KRIs, and control effectiveness to risk leadership.
• Oversees cybersecurity controls, vulnerability management, and auditing.
• Leads incident response, resilience, and third-party risk oversight.
• Collaborates with Technology, Legal, Compliance, and Risk to meet regulatory expectations.
• Leads Information Security team and fosters risk-aware culture.
