Job summary

Origin Bank is seeking a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to lead the Bank's information security program, cyber risk management, and data protection initiatives. The role requires developing governance, policy standards, and reporting to senior leadership and the Board.

The CISO will partner with Technology, Risk, Legal, and Compliance to ensure regulatory readiness, incident response, third-party risk oversight, and security architecture across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 8-12+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or IT risk management.
• 5+ years of leadership experience within a financial services or regulated environment.
• Experience supporting regulatory examinations and interacting with senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develops and manages the Bank's enterprise information security program.
• Ensures regulatory readiness and reporting to risk and leadership.
• Oversees cyber risk, controls, and monitoring activities across the bank.
• Coordinates incident response, third-party risk, and data privacy alignment.
• Leads the Information Security team and promotes risk-aware culture.
• Supports regulatory examinations and audits with evidence and documentation.
• Collaborates with technology, risk, and legal teams on security initiatives.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

8-12+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or IT risk management

5+ years of leadership experience within a financial services or regulated environment

Experience supporting regulatory examinations and interacting with senior leadership
