The City of Aspen seeks a forward-thinking Chief Information Officer to transform technology into a strategic partner for the organization. This role reports to the Administrative Services Director and leads cybersecurity, data, infrastructure, applications, Aspen Community Broadband, and audiovisual services to advance the City’s Strategic Plan.

You will guide the IT roadmap, elevate service delivery, coach staff, and build a customer-focused, collaborative culture.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, CS, public or business administration or related field.
• 7+ years enterprise tech experience; 3+ years in leadership of staff, budgets, vendors, operations.
• Experience establishing technology strategy/governance and leading organizational change.
• Experience with governmental budgeting, procurement, records, accessibility, and cybersecurity requirements.
• Valid Colorado driver’s license or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Responsabilidades

• Provide enterprise leadership for cybersecurity, data, infrastructure, applications, Aspen Community Broadband, and audiovisual services.
• Lead implementation of the City’s new technology roadmap.
• Guide IT from a support function to a strategic, customer-focused partner.
• Partner with City Departments to strategically incorporate technology into organizational priorities.
