Job summary

DBHDS is seeking a strategic Chief Information Officer to lead information technology across the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services. The role drives modernization, enterprise architecture, governance, and technology investments to support program needs and regulatory compliance.

The CIO leads enterprise projects, partners with the CISO, and aligns technology with agency priorities, funding constraints, and risk management.

Qualifications

Experience in IT strategic planning and policies for enterprise applications and systems.
Knowledge of enterprise architecture, SDLC and DevSecOps for modernizing legacy systems.
Experience leading large technology programs with measurable business value.
Ability to navigate multi-cloud, on-premises infrastructure and data governance.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with CISO and risk leaders to ensure security, privacy and compliance.
