Job summary

DSV is seeking a Senior Manager, Continuous Improvement to lead the CIP across warehousing, transportation, and freight forwarding. You will own end-to-end process optimization using Lean, Six Sigma, and 3PL best practices, delivering measurable gains in productivity, cost-to-serve, safety, quality, and service levels.

The role requires strong analytical rigor, hands-on leadership, and the ability to drive change across multi-site operations. Travel up to 50% to support initiatives and audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, supply chain management, operations management, business, or related field.
• 5+ years in continuous improvement, industrial engineering, or operations roles in 3PL/logistics.
• Lean/Six Sigma leadership with quantified results (Green/Black Belt preferred).
• Strong knowledge of warehouse and transportation operations, WMS/TMS, and labor management systems.
• Proficient in process mapping, time studies, statistics, and DMAIC/PDCA methods.

Responsibilities

• Lead CIP strategy for sites/regions with kaizen events and DMAIC projects.
• Build and track a savings/ROI pipeline with clear documentation.
• Establish CIP governance with stage-gate reviews and KPIs.
• Coach sites on Lean/Six Sigma and drive cross-functional improvements.
• Develop and sustain labor standards and layout optimization with IE input.
• Identify automation and WMS/TMS enhancements to scale improvements.
• Present business cases and results to senior leadership and customers.
