Job summary

Amgen seeks a Competitive Intelligence Senior Manager for Rare Disease to lead intelligence gathering and analysis for multiple assets, partnering with US and Global Marketing and cross-functional teams to translate intelligence into strategic actions.

You will manage CI vendors, support major medical congresses with intelligence, and present recommendations to senior leaders while upholding Amgen's CI standards. Travel 15-20% is required.

Qualifications

• Doctorate, Masters, or Bachelors with analytics/CI experience as listed.
• Experience in analytics, consulting or competitive intelligence.
• Ability to work across cross-functional teams and communicate insights.

Responsibilities

• Lead intelligence gathering and analysis for multiple assets in Rare Disease.
• Manage external vendors and internal CI networks.
• Support major medical congresses through intelligence collection and debriefs.
• Facilitate competitive simulations and strategic workshops.
• Present recommendations to senior stakeholders and ensure ethical CI standards.
• Travel 15-20% to support CI activities.
