Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Competitive Intelligence Senior Manager for the Biosimilars unit. You will lead CI strategy across pipeline assets, manage external vendors, and leverage AI-enabled analytics to provide actionable insights to senior stakeholders.

You will coordinate with Market, Medical, and R&D teams to track competitors like Sandoz and Celltrion, and influence strategic decisions. This role requires strong leadership and ethical diligence, with some travel.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree and 2 years of competitive intelligence or similar experience.
• Master’s degree and 4 years of competitive intelligence or similar experience.
• Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of competitive intelligence or similar experience.
• Associate’s degree and 10 years of competitive intelligence or similar experience.
• High school diploma / GED and 12 years of competitive intelligence or similar experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead Competitive Intelligence strategy for Biosimilars assets and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
• Define Key Intelligence Topics with Marketing and other teams; perform primary & secondary research.
• Leverage AI-enabled technologies to improve CI workflows and signal detection.
• Integrate diverse data sources into cohesive competitive landscapes and scenario plans.
• Direct external vendors and internal partners to execute research and rapid-response analyses.
• Present strategic recommendations to senior leadership and uphold CI ethics.
