Job summary

Amgen’s Thousand Oaks team seeks a Competitive Intelligence Manager to lead CI activities for R&D and leadership. You will coordinate with global partners, manage multiple vendors, and develop insights that support asset strategies and regulatory considerations.

The role blends primary/secondary research, patent landscape analysis, and collaboration with KOLs and cross-functional teams to inform decisions and long-range planning within a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Doctorate, Master’s, Bachelor’s, Associate’s or high school with extensive CI related experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead intelligence gathering for R&D stakeholders and leadership teams.
• Develop CI deliverables for internal partners (R&D, Commercial, Legal).
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support asset strategies.
• Understand US patent landscape and manage CI vendors.
