Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company is seeking a strategic Continuous Improvement Manager to lead process optimization and operational excellence at our data center chillers plant. This role sits above operations to drive transformational change, deploying Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and elevate product quality.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in continuous improvement, Lean manufacturing or operational excellence within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven expertise in Lean, Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt preferred), Kaizen, and other process improvement methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, industrial engineering, and production systems—preferably HVAC/refrigeration.
• Experience with ERP/MES systems, data analytics tools, and process automation technologies.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and facilitation skills with a track record of driving cultural transformation.

Responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement strategy and execution across manufacturing operations.
• Deploy Lean Management System and 1-minute management concepts to drive accountability.
• Develop and maintain a plant-wide CI roadmap and ideal state Value Stream Map.
• Lead Kaizen events, cross-functional problem solving, and change management to sustain improvements.
• Drive daily management, KPI tracking, RCA, SPC, and layering audits to guide decisions and optimize performance.
