Job summary

National Security Agency seeks Multidisciplined Language Analysts (MDLAs) with Chinese proficiency to support SIGINT missions. The program offers the Language Analysis Development Program (LADP) or direct hire into analytic offices, with rotations across offices and formal training.

Applicants should have a degree in any field and ILR 2/2 reading/listening in Chinese. Priority is given to strong analytic and communication skills, basic leadership potential, and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum ILR level 2/2 in reading and listening for target language (Chinese).
• Degree in any field acceptable with related language or analytic experience.
• Experience in intelligence analysis, security studies, journalism, or STEM is valued.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, transcribe, and translate foreign language materials for SIGINT purposes.
• Research cultures and geopolitical contexts to provide insights.
• Apply analytic techniques to synthesize large data sets from multiple sources.
• Craft written and oral assessments for policymakers and partners.
• Work independently and collaborate with analysts across the IC.
