Job summary

Dallas County Domestic Relations Office seeks a Child Support Manager to direct daily operations, policy development, and staff oversight in Dallas, TX. You will manage about 16 staff, ensure timely processing of payments, and supervise the contract with the Texas Office of Attorney General, including the SDU and state case registry.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of professional work experience, including 4 years in a managerial capacity.
• Knowledge of child support policies, procedures and regulations.
• Skilled in planning, organizing and prioritizing to meet goals and objectives.

Responsibilities

• Develops policies and procedures to ensure timely and accurate processing of child support payments, including case management oversight and enforcement.
• Develops, implements and directs procedures required to maintain contracts with the Texas OAG, SDU, and state registry; ensures compliance.
• Develops the annual budget for department operations and monitors financial performance.
• Maintains cooperative systems with courts and enforcement services to monitor payment of support and fees.
• Reviews and approves financial and statistical reports and monitors databases for data integrity.
• Monitors legislative changes to ensure compliance and appropriate reimbursement for services.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
