Job summary

University of California, Berkeley is hiring a Gymnastics Chief of Staff to support the women’s gymnastics program. The role concentrates on planning, scheduling, budgeting, and liaising with Academic Study Center and Compliance offices to advance student-athlete development.

The position includes recruiting support, travel coordination for the Head Coach, fundraising collaboration, and data analytics to inform program strategy.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with a Division 1 Women's Gymnastics program.
• Thorough knowledge of program activity and best practices.
• Proficiency in the use of basic computer applications relevant to job duties.
• Knowledge of ACC/NCAA rules and standards.

Responsibilities

• Practice and Game Planning: plan and implement practice and game plans for Women's Gymnastics; scout opponents.
• Program Administration and Student Services: organize and administer the program including academics, compliance, budget, and donor engagement.
• Recruitment and Logistics: coordinate on-campus recruiting activities and travel arrangements for recruiting trips.
• Competition Scheduling: coordinate non-conference game scheduling and contracts; arrange travel for judges.
• Community and Donor Engagement: engage with alumni, donors, media; support NIL opportunities.
• Program Advising and Student Well-being: advise Head Coach and support student-athlete well-being.
• General Support and Professional Development: perform other duties and pursue professional development.
