The University of California, Berkeley’s Department of Intercollegiate Athletics seeks an Aquatics Chief of Staff to support planning, budgeting, scheduling, and travel for its aquatic programs. The role advises the Swimming Head Coach and coordinates with marketing, ticketing, equipment, video and management staff.

You will recruit and develop student staff, manage recruiting logistics and travel, prepare performance analyses, and help ensure the well-being and development of student-athletes

Qualifications

• 5+ years with Division 1 Aquatics programs.
• Strong knowledge of and ability to learn program activity and best practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
• Proficient with basic computer applications relevant to job duties.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Responsabilités

• Practice scheduling and performance analysis for Aquatics programs.
• Administer program logistics with Marketing, Ticketing, Equipment, Video and Sports Management.
• Coordinate recruiting logistics and travel for head coach.
• Support home events and assist with in-event operations.
• Recruit, train, and manage student workforce across Aquatics programs.
• Engage with alumni, donors, and the university community.
• Advise the Swimming Head Coach and promote student well-being.
• Oversee budget management for Aquatics programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Coach.
