Job summary

Androscoggin Bank in Lewiston, ME seeks a Chief of Staff to act as strategic coordinator and trusted proxy for the CEO, COO, and leadership team. You will translate priorities into clear operating plans, drive disciplined execution across business lines, and improve information flow, decision making, and accountability.

You will support enterprise reporting, integration workstreams, and cross-functional initiatives while leveraging data-driven decision-making and AI-enabled tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or equivalent executive, operational, project management, banking, or financial services experience preferred.
• Experience supporting senior executives and leading cross-functional initiatives.
• Ability to synthesize complex information into clear executive materials.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication with diverse audiences.
• Familiarity with EOS Traction, strategic planning, performance scorecards, project management disciplines, or integration management is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the CEO, COO, and senior leadership by preparing for key meetings, leadership forums, Board discussions, and enterprise communications.
• Develop agendas, presentations, talking points, summaries, and materials to enable alignment and accountability.
• Translate strategic priorities into actionable plans with owners, milestones, timelines, and measures.
• Coordinate cross-functional initiatives and integration workstreams to drive progress and reduce duplication.
• Compile updates into executive-ready reports, dashboards, scorecards, and progress summaries.
• Partner with leaders to identify trends, surface barriers, elevate issues, and propose solutions.
• Maintain follow-up discipline by documenting decisions and tracking commitments.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and leverage AI-enabled tools for efficiency.
• Conduct research, market analysis, due diligence, and feasibility to support enterprise decisions.
• Prepare business cases and implementation plans to turn complexity into next steps.
• Provide high-level executive support on sensitive projects with discretion and urgency.
