Job summary

Hip eCommerce seeks a senior operator to join the Executive Team as VP of Operations in Raleigh, NC. You will own the engine turning consignments into satisfied collectors across warehouse, customer support, and core systems.

You will lead through two managers, elevate standards, and drive scalable efficiency to match rapid growth and ad spend. You will partner with the CEO on strategic initiatives, shape processes, and build the Trust & Safety program as payments migrate into marketplaces.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in operations, including leading managers.
• Ability to connect operations to growth, margins and customer experience.
• Proven track record of delivering measurable throughput and efficiency improvements.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end operations flow from intake to fulfillment across warehouse, support and systems.
• Set standards for efficiency, safety and cost per item; drive continuous improvement.
• Lead the CS operation across marketplaces, app, direct orders, and consignors—building trust and safety initiatives.
• Own company-wide systems: project management, warehouse, shipping, help desk, and AI agents; ensure data quality and adoption.
• Run a weekly scorecard covering quotas, throughput, cycle time, on-time shipping, and customer satisfaction.
