Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Change/Release Coordinator to support a federal client with mission-critical systems in defense of our Homeland. The on-site role at Annapolis Junction, MD requires an active Secret clearance and US citizenship.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance is required.
• US Citizens only due to contract requirements.
• 3+ years of experience in configuration management, change management, or related IT service management disciplines.
• Experience administering and maintaining configuration baselines, system documentation, and change control processes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint).
• Hands-on experience utilizing configuration and change management tools to support system lifecycle and operational governance.
• Willingness to participate in a rotational on-call schedule.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate OCCB meetings to review, evaluate, and prioritize Change Requests.
• Review change artifacts for risk assessment and rollback plans.
• Enforce compliance with configurations and change management policies.
• Maintain and distribute the production change calendar across environments.
• Communicate upcoming maintenance and post-change status to stakeholders.
• Coordinate release windows and align deployment schedules.
• Prepare release readiness packages with rollback plans and verification tests.
• Lead PIRs for major or failed releases to capture lessons learned.
• Document configuration items impacted by changes and track lifecycle metrics.
