Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Change/Release Coordinator to support a federal client with mission-critical systems. The role manages the lifecycle of IT changes and releases, aligning schedules with development, security, and operations teams to minimize service impact.

This onsite position in Annapolis Junction, MD requires an active Secret clearance. The incumbent will lead OCCBs, ensure proper risk assessments and rollback plans, maintain the change calendar, and communicate upcoming maintenance to

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance is required.
• US Citizens only are allowed to be considered.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in configuration management, change management, or related IT service management disciplines.
• Experience administering configuration baselines, documentation, and change control processes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint).
• Hands-on experience with configuration and change management tools.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate OCCB meetings, coordinate and schedule Change Requests (CHGs).
• Review artifacts to ensure risk assessment and rollback plans are in place.
• Enforce compliance with Configuration/Change Management policies.
• Maintain Change Schedule and production calendar across environments.
• Broadcast communications on maintenance, outages, and post-change status to teams and stakeholders.
• Coordinate Release Windows and align deployment across components.
