Job summary

HM Prison and Probation Service (HMPPS) Change Group is seeking a Change Officer to join Area and National Change Delivery teams. You will oversee local and national change initiatives, act as lead contact for specific establishments or regions, and use digital tools like GMS and PftW to track progress.

You will work across prisons and probation, collaborate with Change Directorate staff, attend governance boards, and ensure records meet national standards.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver change and oversee projects
• Engage in quality assurance and peer review of projects
• Maintain relationships with regional or national change stakeholders across prisons and probation
• Support development and execution of effective communication strategies for the change projects
• Ensure compliance with the Gateway Management System (GMS) and Project for the Web (PftW)
• Apply best practices in change management to drive project delivery
• Lead project meetings, task groups, and focus groups to drive success
• Track monthly reporting and provide regular updates to line managers to show progress and continuous improvement
