WEA Member Benefits, a Wisconsin-based nonprofit organization serving public school employees, seeks a Chief Financial Officer & Treasurer to partner with the President/CEO and boards to guide financial strategy and sustainability across multiple entities.

You will lead a finance and accounting team, oversee budgeting, reporting, and risk management, and ensure GAAP compliance while supporting enterprise growth and mission impact.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
• Significant experience in accounting, financial management, and executive leadership.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.
• Demonstrated success leading teams and developing talent.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement long-term financial strategies aligned with goals.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
• Oversee cash flow, investments, reserves, and liquidity.
• Assess and manage enterprise risk across entities.
• Partner with leadership on compensation and growth initiatives.
• Ensure timely financial reporting and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee accounting operations, controls, and reporting systems.
• Provide insights to support executive decision-making.
• Maintain GAAP compliance and regulatory requirements.
