Ohio Chamber of Commerce is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to lead the Finance Team in an in-person downtown Columbus setting. The role oversees accounting, budgeting, payroll, and audits, with a salary range of $200,000–$250,000.

The CFO collaborates with executive leadership and boards to ensure financial integrity and strategic growth. The position requires 7–10 years of senior financial management experience, GAAP expertise, and strong leadership.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 7–10 years of progressively responsible financial management experience.
• GAAP knowledge, financial controls, regulatory reporting.
• Experience across multiple entities, including audits.
• Strong leadership, communication, and strategic financial planning.
• Advanced Excel and accounting software proficiency.
• Experience with nonprofit accounting and IRS Form 990 preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee the Finance Team including the Controller and Accounting Assistant.
• Manage day-to-day financial activity: accounts payable/receivable, payroll, vendor payments.
• Ensure integrity of the general ledger and accounting data.
• Prepare monthly and annual financial closing packages and statements.
• Coordinate external audits and tax filings for OCC and affiliates.
• Oversee budgeting and long-term financial planning with leadership.
