Job summary

ProSource Group is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to lead the financial operations of its contracting business and affiliated entities from the Baldwin, New York office. The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and consolidated reporting while guiding the finance team.

The ideal candidate will have extensive CFO or senior finance experience, multi-entity oversight, and strong commercial judgment.

Qualifications

• Significant CFO-level leadership experience and strategic oversight.
• Experience managing finances across multiple entities and complex structures.
• Construction/contracting industry experience is advantageous but not required.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting.
• Willingness to work full-time from Baldwin, NY office.

Responsibilities

• Lead the financial strategy and day-to-day financial operations of the group.
• Provide strategic financial advice to the Owner and Co-Owner.
• Oversee consolidated reporting across the contracting company and affiliated businesses.
• Lead, support and develop the existing finance and accounting team.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow planning and financial analysis.
• Improve the accuracy, consistency and timeliness of management reporting.
• Establish and maintain appropriate financial controls, policies and procedures.
• Monitor financial performance and provide ownership with meaningful commercial insights.
• Oversee relationships with banking, accounting, tax, insurance and other financial partners.
• Support business planning, investment decisions and future growth initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with relevant financial, tax and reporting requirements.
• Remain directly involved in key accounting and financial matters when required.
