Berkley Mid-Atlantic Group (BMAG) seeks a CFO to oversee financial activities for two Berkley operating units. You will plan, implement, and direct accounting, reporting, and financial forecasting while enforcing controls and compliance with GAAP and regulations.

You will partner with senior leadership to drive cost optimization, strategic planning, and automation initiatives, while guiding a team and ensuring accurate monthly reporting for management decisions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in progressively responsible financial leadership roles.
• Property & Casualty Insurance experience, including statutory and GAAP reporting.
• Proficiency with financial systems (Oracle/PeopleSoft) and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic finance/operations leader and member of the Senior Leadership team.
• Partner with the President to accelerate execution, optimize outcomes and reduce costs.
• Provide executive management with financial analysis on business activities.
• Lead development of short and long-term strategic financial objectives.
• Direct the monthly reporting process and deliver timely reports to optimize revenue and minimize risk.
• Ensure internal controls comply with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
